Das Rokokotheater im Schloss Schwetzingen bildet den Rahmen für Konzerte und Oper im Rahmen des Barock-Fests Winters in Schwetzingen.

From Heidelberg Bismarckplatz take tram line 22 to the final stop Eppelheim, from there take bus BRN 713 to Schwetzingen Schlossplatz. From the Kurfürstenanlage stop, take bus BRN 717 in the direction of Speyer to the Schwetzingen Schlossplatz stop.
From Mannheim or Karlsruhe you can reach Schwetzingen station by Deutsche Bahn trains. The castle can be reached on foot from Schwetzingen station in approx. 10 minutes.

The following applies to all venues: As usual, our tickets include the Kombi-Ticket of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN) and are thus valid as tickets for buses, trams and released trains (RE, RB and S-Bahn) in the VRN. The ticket is valid on the day of the performance and until 3 a.m. the following day. It is therefore worthwhile collecting reserved tickets before the day of the performance.

The theatre's shuttle bus to Schwetzingen departs from the main station, in front of the main entrance at Willy-Brandt-Platz, one hour before the performance begins. The shuttle bus returns twenty minutes after the end of the performance.
Use of the shuttle is only possible after prior registration at the theatre box office, Theaterstraße 10, 06221 / 5820 000! The fare is included in the ticket price.
The number of bus seats is limited. Please register early!

The Messplatz and Schloss car parks are close to the Schloss Schwetzingen. Please allow approx. 15 minutes on foot.
 

Access to Schwetzinger Schloss is barrier-free.

Wheelchair users are kindly requested to register their visit at the theatre box offices or to order their tickets at the box offices or by telephone on 06221 / 58 20 000 to ensure the best possible seating. Admission for an accompanying person is free and can be registered when purchasing tickets.
