Structural accessibility

The theater's venues are accessible without barriers and have appropriate seating:

  • Marguerre-Saal (stalls with a total of five barrier-free seats)
  • Alter Saal (stalls with a total of three barrier-free seats)
  • Zwinger 1 and Zwinger 3 (access via stair lift up to max. 225 kg)

The ticket office, foyers and checkrooms are also accessible. All venues also have sufficient sanitary facilities, which are designed for persons with disabilities.

Parking spaces for people with special needs are available on Theaterplatz.

Inductive hearing system

At theater events in the Marguerre Hall, the Old Hall and Zwinger 1, inductive hearing systems can be used to improve the quality of hearing for people with hearing impairments. The electromagnetic waves of these induction loops can be received by suitable hearing aids (with a T-coil). To do this, the hearing aid must be set to T-mode before the event begins.

In order to make the best possible use of this service, we recommend that you use stalls rows 2 to 13 in the Marguerre Hall and stalls rows 1 to 7 in the Old Hall.

If you have a hearing aid but do not know whether it has a T-coil, please ask your hearing aid acoustician for advice.
