Hardly any other genre stands for individual artistic expression more than the Kunstlied. On four dates – the last one will take place in June 2025 – the members of the opera ensemble invite you to the Alter Saal and present many different facets of the art of song – from classical to modern – and show the diversity of this popular genre. Each evening promises a unique musical experience in which our singers and the musical sophistication of the art song take centre stage.
