Anna Sonnenschein

Anna Sonnenschein was born in Freiburg and grew up in Basel. She gained her first experience of theatre at the age of nine, which she later expanded on as a Freifach member of the theatre group.
She completed her acting studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main in 2017. She spent her practical year at Schauspiel Frankfurt, where her roles included Meggie in »Tintenherz« (director: Rüdiger Pape).
In summer 2021, she made a guest appearance in »Das Spiel von Liebe und Zufall« (directed by Lilli-Hannah Höpner) at the Heidelberg Schlossfestspiele.
From the 2021/22 season, she was permanently employed at the Rheinisches Landestheater in Neuss for three years (and worked with Caroline Stolz, Boris Motzki, Ekat Cordes, Philipp Moschitz and Jule Kracht, among others).
She has been working as a freelance actress since summer of 2024, starting at the Gostner Hofheater and will appear in »Momo« at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg in the 2024/25 season.
