Dominique Enz

Dominique Enz, *1992 in St. Gallen, is a freelance director and lives in Zurich. She studied literature, film and political science in Zurich and theatre directing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. Since graduating in 2020, she has mainly directed for young audiences. In her work, she seeks sensual expression, often works with puppet theatre as a tool and involves young perspectives in the process. Her productions are created at theatres such as FigurenTheater St. Gallen, Hessisches Landestheater Marburg, Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern and Junges Schauspielhaus Hamburg as well as in the independent scene in Zurich. In 2023, her production »Out There« won the Youth Prize at the Heidelberg Stückemarkt. Since 2022, Dominique Enz has been part of the Jungspund programme group, a festival for independent children's and youth theatre in Switzerland, and since the beginning of 2024 she has been working as a theatre educator at Kulturkosmonauten in St. Gallen. Dominique Enz is a member of ASSITEJ Switzerland/Suisse/Svizerra/Svizra.
