Florence Schreiber

Florence Schreiber works as a freelance stage and costume designer in the theater and in the independent scene, as well as a set designer for film. Among other things, she designed the set for »Prima Facie« (director: Seline Seidler) and »Der einsame Westen« (director: Lukas Holzhausen) at Schauspiel Hannover, the set and costume design for the plays »Komm wir finden einen Schatz« at Theater Lüneburg (director: Ruth Langenberg) and for »Afraid of« (director: Michelle Stoop) at Fundus Theater Hamburg, as well as the scenography for the world premiere of »Yahya Hassan« (director: Murat Dikenci). The set design for the mini-series »Brüt« (directed by Marian Freistühler & Oliver Bassemir) can currently be seen in the ARD Mediathek. Together with the author and director Pia Kröll, she won the Young Director competition at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, where she designed the set and costume design for the play »Deine Oma - Eva hatte keinen Bauchnabel«. She was an assistant at Schauspiel Hannover from 2020 to 2023,  a period in which she realized various stage designs and spatial concepts at the theater. Among other things, she created the stage design for »Vater Unser« (director: Hannah Gehmacher), which won the Heidelberg Stückemarkt Jugendstückepreis in 2022. Florence Schreiber studied Fine Arts and Stage Design at the HFBK Hamburg.
