Lana Ramsay is a costume and set designer based in Berlin. She was born in Paris and studied there at the Ecole supérieure des arts appliqués Duperré. She continued her studies at the TU Berlin and graduated in 2017 with a Master of Arts in Scenography and Stage Design. From 2019 to 2021 she was assistant stage designer at Deutsches Theater Berlin. Since 2021 she is working regularly with the music theatre collective Hauen&Stechen with the stage designers Christina Schmitt and Yassu Yabara. Lana Ramsay develops her own costume and stage designs as well as room installations, so far at Theater Paderborn, Landesbühnen Sachsen, Deutsches Theater Berlin and Theater unterm Dach Berlin. She also completed a bachelor's degree in philosophy at the University of Paris-Nanterre in 2022. Lana Ramsay is designing the stage and costumes for the world premiere of »Unter euch« by Thomas Depryck Theater und Orchester Heidelberg in 2024/25.
