Tobias Nessel

Tobias Nessel has become an integral part of the music scene in the Rhein-Neckar-Delta. After completing his A-levels in music and studying drums, he is now on the road as a drummer, conductor, drum teacher and lecturer. Thousands of live concerts as a drummer, various TV appearances (Pro7, TV Total, Bundesvision Song Contest, My Hit your Song), artist accompaniments, band projects, CD recordings, theater productions and international tours through the USA, Japan and Europe have been behind him since the beginning of his professional career. He has conducted the Bläserphilharmonie Rhein-Neckar and various orchestras and music associations, is guest conductor of various select orchestras and has been the musical head and conductor of the Brühler Bläserakademie since 2003.
He has conducted the music school orchestra at Speyer Music School since 2023.
Together with his colleague Mathias Buchta, he runs the Klangfabrik music school in the south of Mannheim. His students have won several national prizes at Jugend musiziert. He also works as a teacher at the Mannheim Municipal Music School.
